Operational Support

  • Transport Engineering

  • Accessibility Studies

  • Stability Analysis

  • Towing Analysis

  • Jack Up Analysis

  • Hydrodynamics

  • Project Cargo

  • Vessel Operations

  • Suitability Studies

  • Marine Warranty Support

  • Weather Downtime Assessment

  • Installation Concepts

  • Risk Assessment

We provide specialist naval architecture support for offshore operations, combining engineering precision with practical experience. Our team works across all phases of a project from feasibility and concept development through to detailed analysis and offshore execution.

We support vessel selection, operation planning, and installation engineering through robust assessments tailored to your specific operational needs. Whether you're planning a heavy lift, assessing vessel motions, or ensuring marine warranty compliance, we deliver reliable, focused engineering to reduce risk and enable safe, efficient operations.

Mooring and Cable Analysis

  • Quayside Mooring Analysis

  • Offshore Mooring Analysis

  • Cable Laying Analysis

We analyse both quayside and offshore mooring arrangements to design safe, efficient mooring spreads, define operational limits, and support decision-making during marine operations. We use tools such as Orcaflex and Optimoor, selecting the right level of analysis based on project complexity.

For cable laying, we simulate and assess the behaviour of subsea power cables during installation to ensure safety and avoid over-bending, over-tension, or touchdown damage. This analysis is essential to define safe operating windows, guide installation procedures, and reduce project risk.

We also support floating offshore wind projects by modelling mooring systems and assessing motions during port installation, tow-out, and on-site operations.

Structural Analysis

  • Structural Engineering

  • Grillage and Sea Fastening Design

  • Vessel Structures

  • Vessel Modifications

Our structural engineering capability covers a wide range of offshore and marine applications, from grillage and sea fastening design to foundation structures, vessel modifications, and elements of vessel design. We are familiar with classification society rules and industry guidelines, ensuring compliance and industry guidelines are followed at every stage.

We work with both steel and aluminium structures and have significant experience in finite element analysis (FEA). Whether supporting day-to-day operations or delivering bespoke engineering solutions, we provide designs that are practical, efficient, and tailored to your operational needs.
