Yesterday the UK government announced the results of Allocation Round 7 (AR7) for offshore wind. This paves the way for an additional 8.4GW of offshore wind capacity (1.4 x the current capacity of UK nuclear power) by 2032.     It’s great to see so many projects securing CfDs and a path to more sustainable energy — congratulations to all involved.  By our estimation there were 25 projects technically eligible for AR7 with 8 being awarded CfDs – This could make AR8 very intere
