Charles visits the University of Southampton

This week Charles Scott went back to his marine engineering roots at the University of Southampton. Our MD was given the opportunity to share his story of how his MaritimeEngineering & shipscience degree shaped his future and allowing him to set up his own consultancy. 

During the session, also attended by Rupert Raymond from Tadek Ocean Engineering and Angus Webb from DYNAMON, the panellists shared their own stories of successes and challenges encountered along the way and their own personal experiences. 

The presentation was followed by a Q&A session with lots of brilliant questions from the next generation of engineers followed by an opportunity to meet with all the students. 

This was a brilliant initiative run by Penny Jeffcoate at the University of Southampton - helping students learn more about industry and the range of opportunities available to them in the future.
